Hate to be a dick, but... isn't that basically what being lazy means?
A lazy person is someone who chooses to pass on a very possible and good opportunity for them. However, if I was very good at doing events, I wouldn't have even started this recruitment thread in the first place. The problem has nothing to do with me *wanting* to do events, it's having the *talent* and *patience* to work it all out. Mapping, spriting, database work = stuff I can easily do, just not events. (Yes, I know I asked for some help with the database, but only for some unique parts of the skills and monsters tabs.)

Help me out with this game...

No. I'm pretty much the only one who's working on database stuff for the game at the moment, until someone steps up to do events for me.

It's just like Cysma, who advertised his game all over the place and wanted for everyone to do every last detail of his game for him aside from the storyline and monster's attacks that he would do himself. What a hero...

Wow, rude. I just need someone who can do either of those two things listed above. But, I guess it's OK for for people like yourself to assume that "I'm a lazy good-for-nothing who just wants to map and sprite. Hey people, please do everything else for me. 'LOLZ.'" You know, I'm not lazy at all. See, it's just that I don't have the motivation to do events, and it really irritates me when it's left up to me to do them. Yes, I CAN do them, but I do them half-assed at best. That's why I need someone to do events for me.

If I may put in some thoughts,

1) These guys do make a valid point, Allen.

2) You really aren't THAT bad at doing events and stuff, Allen, your old demo actually looked pretty good. All you really needed was a guy to do up a better storyline for you.

3) Shit, if you really want, Allen, get me to do some of that other stuff, I used to be pretty good at RPGMaker. I could just never finish a project on my own.

2) Here's the thing: I suck at scripting out decent scenes. So, I need someone who can do it much better than I can. Do you have any idea how long it took me to polish up the dialogues? I'm just terrible with this kind of stuff.
